At Edgewater Artists in Motion, we do our best to celebrate local art and artists all year long. Sometimes, however, it's necessary to put on an event that will really attract attention. If you're an art lover in the Chicago area, the Edgewater Arts Festival is an event to watch this fall. This art festival is a great way to be introduced to new artists, and a great way for artists to show off their latest works.

Putting on an art festival costs money, and that's why we value our sponsors so much each and every year. Local companies, colleges, and other groups join our community of 1,600 artists and art lovers to help us put on this event every year, and we know that 2018 will be no different. We look forward to their help with this year's Edgewater Arts Festival.
For Art Lovers
If you love art and want to purchase some for our home, you can attend the festival in the Edgewater neighborhood. View some new pieces from one of your favorite artists or discover some new artwork that will blow you away.
If you really want to help this art festival become a success, you can also volunteer! Last year we had more than one hundred valuable volunteers, including many students from local high schools. Together with our sponsors, these volunteers put in more than 900 hours of work to make the 2017 Edgewater Arts Festival a success!
So whether you're an artist or just an art lover, mark your calendars for August 29th and 30th. We can't wait to impress you at the Edgewater Arts Festival this fall!

A big, heartfelt thank you to all our sponsors and the 120 volunteers who clocked in a total of 931 hours of work, including the 42 student volunteers from our local schools, Mather High School and Senn High School. The Festival couldn't happen without them!
